Bortom ärendet
Tio procent av vårt arvode går vidare när en tvist lett till betalning.
Vi driver tvistemål åt klienter som har rätt och behöver få rätt. När ett sådant ärende är avslutat och pengarna kommit in ger vi tio procent av vårt arvode vidare till välgörande ändamål. Pengarna kommer från det vi själva tjänar på ärendet och aldrig från klientens ersättning. Det är en fast princip som gäller varje ärende, inte något vi avgör från fall till fall.
Så fungerar det
Fyra saker avgör vad som ges bort och när. De gäller likadant i varje ärende.
- Omfattning
- Tvistemål som avslutas med att pengar betalas ut, genom dom eller förlikning. Det gäller både när vi ansöker om stämning och när vår klient är svarande och tillerkänns ersättning.
- Andel
- Tio procent. En fast siffra och inte ett spann, som gäller varje ärende som omfattas.
- Beräkningsgrund
- Tio procent av Lawgents arvode i ärendet, efter att mervärdesskatt redovisats. Klientens ersättning och medel på klientmedelskonto berörs aldrig, och därför krävs inget samtycke från klienten i det enskilda ärendet.
- Utbetalning
- Gåvan utlöses när betalningen kommit in på vårt konto, inte när domen faller. Utbetalning till organisationerna sker en gång i månaden. Uteblir betalningen ges ingenting bort.
Organisationerna
Vilka organisationer vi stödjer håller på att bekräftas. Varje organisation presenteras här med en kort beskrivning av varför vi valt just den.
Redovisning
Vi publicerar det totala beloppet en gång per år, fördelat per organisation.
Redovisningen är aggregerad. Vi nämner aldrig klient, motpart, målnummer eller enskilda ärenden, oavsett kanal och oavsett om uppgiften redan är offentlig i annan form. Klientsekretessen gäller utan undantag och väger tyngre än varje intresse vi har av att berätta om initiativet.

Beyond the Case
Ten per cent of our fee is passed on when a dispute has led to payment.
We litigate for clients who are in the right and need to be proven right. When such a case closes and the money has come in, we pass ten per cent of our fee on to charitable causes. It comes from what we earn on the case and never from the client’s compensation. This is a fixed principle that applies to every case, not something we decide case by case.
How it works
Four things determine what is given and when. They apply the same way in every case.
- Scope
- Civil cases that end with money being paid out, by judgment or by settlement. This applies both when we file the claim and when our client is the defendant and is awarded compensation.
- Share
- Ten per cent. A fixed figure rather than a range, applied to every case covered.
- Basis
- Ten per cent of Lawgent’s fee in the case, after VAT has been accounted for. The client’s compensation and any funds held in the client account are never touched, which is why no consent is required from the client in the individual case.
- Payment
- The gift is triggered when payment reaches our account, not when judgment is handed down. Payments to the organisations are made once a month. If payment never arrives, nothing is given.
The organisations
The organisations we support are being confirmed. Each one will be presented here with a short note on why we chose it.
Reporting
We publish the total amount once a year, broken down by organisation.
The reporting is aggregated. We never name a client, an opposing party, a case number or an individual case, in any channel and regardless of whether the information is already public elsewhere. Client confidentiality applies without exception and outweighs any interest we have in talking about the initiative.
