    Why this exists

You should understand an agreement before you sign it

Contracts are written to be precise, not to be easy to read. Most are signed anyway, because working out what every clause actually means takes time few people have. A review gives you that understanding without the hours.

    Questions worth answering first
What exactly am I agreeing to?
    What obligations am I accepting?
    What rights do I have?
    What will this cost me?
How can I terminate the agreement?
    Does it renew automatically?
    What liability am I accepting?
Are there restrictions I should understand?
Is there anything I should question before signing?

    Questions and answers

What kinds of agreements do you review?

Commercial agreements, employment contracts, leases, NDAs, supplier and customer terms and shareholder documents are the most common.

How long can the agreement be?

One agreement per review, up to 15 pages. Longer agreements are quoted separately before any work starts.

    Who reads my contract?

A lawyer at Lawgent AB. Your document is used only to produce your review and is not shared outside the firm.

    When do I get it?

Standard is within two business days. Priority is by the next business day. You see the exact delivery time before you order.

Is this the same as having a lawyer represent me?

No. You receive a written review of the agreement you send us. If your situation needs advice beyond the document itself, we will say so.
